I was just offered Greg Olsen for Owen Daniels. I accepted the trade and received Greg Olsen which I feel can be pretty good with new raw talent throwing to him in Cam Newton. Owen Daniels is a top TE in the league and with Matt Schaub throwing to him you can't go wrong but with him coming off injury last year I am very cautious. The way Cam Newton and Steve Smith play well with each other, I can also see the same chemistry with him and Olsen.

Cam is a very young QB and will have to rely on a TE to bail him out. The only thing that concerns me is that Cam is multi dimensional and the plays drawn up for TE's will probably also have rushing plays for Cam. Still, no coach with a right mind wants their QB running too much. I believe Owen Daniels will be a feast or famine type of TE. Houston has many offensive options and it's very hard to shut down Andre Johnson so he's the go to guy.

In the end, both players will be up/down in production, but the one with the bigger upside is Olsen, unless AJ ever gets hurt which makes Daniels a true gold mine.
